| We wish to inform you that the Malaysia goverment had annouced on 26 February 2024 | ||
| that a Service Tax of 6% will be implemented on logistics services. The implementation | ||
| is scheduled to take effect from 1st April 2024. | ||

| Effective from January 1st, 2024, only individuals who have completed the General | ||
| Awareness/Familiarization
and Function Specific IMDG Code courses from
training |

| providers recognized by the Malaysian Marine Department and registered with PPC | ||
| (Penang Port Commission) will be accepted to sign the
Container/Vehicle Packing | ||
| Certificate for the purpose of declaring dangerous goods cargo at the Port of Penang. | ||
